ด้วยสมาคมศัลยศาสตร์ช่องปากและแม็กซิลโลเฟเชียลแห่งประเทศไทย
ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรที่ดำเนินการ ด้านการส่งเสริม
การพัฒนาการ ด้านวิชาชีพและ วิทยาการทางทันตแพทย ์สาขาสมาคมศัลยศาสตร์
ช่องปากและแม็กซิลโลเฟเชียล ในประเทศไทย ทางสมาคมได้รับการสนับสนุนจากทาง
International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons ( IAOMS ) ที่ได้ให้ความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการกับทางสมาคมฯ
มาในระยะเวลาหลายปี ในปี 2550 นี้ ทางสมาคมร่วมกับ
IAOMS
จัดงานประชุมวิชาการ Advanced course 2007
ขึ้น ในหัวข้อ Surgical management for congenital
anormalies patient ซึ่งเป็นหัวข้อที่ไ ด้รับความสนใจใน
วิชาชีพ โดยผู้ที่ได้รับ เป็นวิทยากร ในครั้งนี้ เป็นวิทยากร
ที่มีชื่อเสียงสูงสุด คือ Professor
Ulrich Joos ซึ่งเป็นผู้อำนวยการแห่ง
Department of Oral and Cranio-maxillofacial and
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and of the Institute
of Experimental Dentistry, University Hospital of
Muenster ประเทศเยอรมนี ทางสมาคมฯ ได้รับเกีรยติจากท่าน
วิทยากรท่านนี้ มาบรรยายวิชาการ ในหัวข้อดังกล่าว
ซึ่งจะทำให้การดำเนินการของสมาคมฯ ด้านส่งเสริมการพัฒนาวิชาการ
ได้ก้าวหน้ามากขึ้น เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสมาชิกและวิชาชีพสืบต่อไป
